Wanqi Feng

Tianjin Conservatory of Music deputy director, associate professor, member of the International Federation of Piano Societies, member of the Piano Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, the State Fund for Overseas Studies appointed the first Chinese piano doctor trained by the Russian National Gernising Conservatory of Music. As an outstanding representative of overseas students, she was cordially received by the then President Hu Jintao and other party and state leaders. As the first Chinese to successfully hold a solo concert at Greenka Concert Hall in Moscow, she was praised by his tutors, colleagues and the news media. 

During her study abroad, she participated in many international competitions held in Finland and Russia. The awards include piano solo, chamber music, art guidance and so on. As a teacher, she guided students to participate in hundreds of international and domestic competitions and won the first prize in Moscow International “Classical Music” Piano Competition, China International Non-Professional Piano Competition, Poland Youth International Piano Competition, San Jose International Piano Competition, the second prize in the Central Conservatory of Music, Kadanza Chinese Piano Works Competition and others. The students were admitted to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Russia, Manhattan Conservatory of Music in the United States, Falkwan University of Art in Germany and Zurich Conservatory of Music in Switzerland. She has been invited to judge international and domestic piano competitions many times.
